Smoothie bowl (banana, Zespri Green kiwifruit, spinach, lime and coconut water)
On summer vacation, we like to spend time outdoors doing activities like sports. This is why we are pleased to present a simple, fresh and flavourful dish which will help restore the nutrients lost during exercise.
Recipe rich in fibre with high vitamin C content. Natural source of folate and good source of potassium.Recipe appropriate for Nutrition per serving
- 2 bananas
- 3 Zespri Green kiwifruit
- juice of 1 lime
- 80 g fresh spinach
- 3 cups of mineral water or coconut water
- 8 banana slices
- 8 Zespri Green kiwifruit slices
- 40 g coconut flakes
- 30 g blueberries
- Peel and slice the bananas and Zespri Green kiwifruit. Wash and rinse the spinach. Cut off the thicker stems.
- Put the kiwifruit, banana, spinach, coconut water and juice of lime into the blender. Process until finely blended. Pour into glasses and garnish with the kiwifruit, banana, coconut flakes and blueberries. Serve immediately.
When it comes to exercise, there is one thing we can all agree on: it feels great once it’s over! But in fact, what we do after our workout is just as important as what we do during it.
