Zespri Green kiwifruit avocado sashimi

  • 4 Zespri Green kiwifruit, peeled
  • 2 avocados, peeled
  • 1 orange
  • 4 tbsps soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 1/2 tbsp wasabi
  • Japanese herb mix ( shichimi togarashi) optional

Method

  1. Halve the Zespri Green kiwifruits and avocados lengthwise.
  2. Remove the stone from the avocado and carefully peel.
  3. Cut the avocados and kiwifruits into thin slices.
  4. Arrange the kiwifruit and avocado slices on four plates to resemble sashimi
  5. Squeeze a little orange juice over the avocados and kiwifruits.  
  6. Mix the soy sauce, water and wasabi.
  7. Season the dishes with Japanese herb mix.
  8. Serve with the soy dip.
