Smoothie with Zespri Green kiwifruit, banana, chia seeds and soy milk
It can sometimes be an arduous task to get our children to eat healthy. So here's a delicious way to include fibre and other essential nutrients in teen’s diet. You can combine it with other seasonal fruits but never forget the kiwifruit!
- 2 bananas
- 2 Zespri Green kiwifruit
- 30 g chopped walnuts
- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
- 5 dL soy milk (or oat milk)
- 4 teaspoons agave nectar
- Grind up the chia seeds into a fine powder. Peel and cut up the bananas and Zespri Green kiwifruit.
- Put all the cut fruit in the blender with the chopped walnuts. Pour in soy milk and blend to smoothie texture. Keep in fridge until ready to serve.
