Zespri Green kiwifruit and almond milk smoothie

A delicious kiwifruit smoothie in the morning or as a healthy snack in the afternoon or evening can be a great pick-me-up. You can always prepare it to your taste, adding a banana or some nuts if you need more vitality.  If you’re vegan, lactose intolerant or just cutting back on dairy more generally, this smoothie is perfect for you.

 

Recipe rich in fibre with high vitamin C content. Good source of potassium and natural source of folate.

Ingredients Method

Ingredients

  • 4 Zespri Green kiwifruit
  • 250 g strawberries
  • 400 ml almond milk
  • 20 g raisins

Method

  1. Peel and slice the Zespri kiwifruit. Wash the strawberries, remove the stalks and cut them in half.
  2. Put the kiwifruit, strawberries, almond milk and raisins in the blender. Blend until smooth and a pouring consistency. Store in the fridge in a glass container and it’s ready to go!
