Zespri Green kiwifruit and orange smoothie

This classic smoothie combines orange and kiwifruit. Both are highly nutritious and give the smoothie a refreshing touch. Serve cold any time of day.

 

Recipe rich in fibre with high vitamin C content. It is also a good source of potassium and natural source of folate.

Ingredients Method

Ingredients

  • 4 Zespri Green kiwifruit
  • 2 medium-sized oranges
  • 500 ml rice or soya milk
  • 60 g small rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

  1. Peel and dice the Zespri kiwifruit. Peel the oranges, cut them in quarters, removing any pith or pips and roughly chop.
  1. Put the kiwifruit, orange, oats, milk and vanilla into the blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.

 

Tip:

  • If you prefer a warm version for winter days, just heat the milk before blending.
  • If you want a colder version of the smoothie, you can freeze the oranges and kiwifruit before blending.
