Zespri Green kiwifruit and orange smoothie
This classic smoothie combines orange and kiwifruit. Both are highly nutritious and give the smoothie a refreshing touch. Serve cold any time of day.
- 4 Zespri Green kiwifruit
- 2 medium-sized oranges
- 500 ml rice or soya milk
- 60 g small rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Peel and dice the Zespri kiwifruit. Peel the oranges, cut them in quarters, removing any pith or pips and roughly chop.
- Put the kiwifruit, orange, oats, milk and vanilla into the blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
- If you prefer a warm version for winter days, just heat the milk before blending.
- If you want a colder version of the smoothie, you can freeze the oranges and kiwifruit before blending.
