Zespri Kiwifruit, kale, cranberry and mango smoothie

If you wake up feeling a bit down, this recipe will cheer you up! A smoothie packed with vitamins and flavour that will help you face a hard day with a positive frame of mind. And if you fancy a delicious and refreshing mid-morning drink, you only need to add a few ice cubes.

This recipe is rich in fibre with a high vitamin C content, and a good source of potassium and a natural source of folate.

Ingredients Method

Ingredients

  • 3 Zespri Green kiwifruit
  • 3 Zespri SunGold kiwifruit
  • 1 mango (300 g of pulp)
  • 2 stems of kale (60 g)
  • 1 handful cranberries
  • 300 ml mineral water
  • 5 ice cubes (optional)

Method

  1. Peel and chop the Zespri kiwifruit. Wash and chop the kale. Peel the mango and separate the pulp from the stone. Wash the cranberries.
  2. Put the water and all the ingredients into a food mixer and blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If you like cold smoothies, blend with the ice cubes. Serve.
