Zespri Green kiwifruit, mozzarella and basil ciabatta

Ingredients Method


  • 4 Zespri Green kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
  • One ripe tomato, halved
  • A little olive oil
  • 250g buffalo mozzarella, sliced
  • 20 basil leaves
  • Sea salt
  • Black pepper
  • 4 ciabattas


  1. Halve the ciabatta.
  2. Rub the tomato halves over the inside of the halved ciabatta.
  3. Fill the bottom parts of the ciabatta with mozzarella and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Continue to fill with basil and Zespri Green kiwifruit.
  5. Sprinkle a dash of olive oil and cover with other halves of ciabatta.
  6. Wrap in baking paper.
